Company History
Retired troopers, who are former in-service trainers for state police officers and are presently active municipal police trainers, founded Control Training Specialists in 2003. Trainers together represent forty years of training experience in the use of force, lethal and non-lethal.
Currently taught are empty hand techniques, come-a-longs and escorts. There is familiarization and certification training available in MOAB, PATH Handcuffing, OCAT Pepper Spray, and MEB/Monadnock Baton.
Conflict Intervention (Resolution) and Self-Protection Measures training as well as sensitvity awareness training is available to address human relations issues.
We are certified security guard trainers, NRA, and Sigarms firearms instructors.
Together these trainers offer a well-rounded program that will assist any agency confronted with issues concerning the management of force and control.
